We offer paid training, a competitive starting salary, and an aggressive commission structure to make sure that your efforts are rewarded. The inside sales representative we seek will operate out of our offices in northern San Diego, one of the most beautiful cities in the United States with its mix of breathtaking beaches, historic Spanish architecture, and gorgeous California sunshine.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in product training to learn policy terms and underwriting guidelines 
  • Participate in computer training on company systems 
  • Handle inbound calls, emails and online chat
  • Provide follow-up calls, emails and online chat
  • Participate in departmental meetings 
  • Build and maintain customer relationships 
  • Be proactive about continuing education and training
  • Close new accounts by interacting with customers, primarily via telephone and email 
  • Make daily outbound calls and write emails to clients and prospective clients 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships

Training and Experience

  • Minimum two years proven sales success 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required 
  • Previous call center experience preferred, but not required 
  • Life and health license preferred, but not required
  • Don't have an insurance license? We'll help you get one!
  • We provide product training to learn policy terms and underwriting guidelines 
  • We provide training for company computer systems 

 

Earning Potential and Benefits

  • Top sales agents make over $180,000 a year 
  • Average compensation is $90,000+ a year for experienced agents
