Overview

This position is responsible for hardware and software troubleshooting and support. This position also assists in the planning and implementing of the network infrastructure and computer telephony interface environment. This position requires general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Solve computer related problems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Implementation of software operating systems and system updates.
  • Security assessments and upkeep of security in respective knowledge areas.
  • Maintain virus security software.
  • Monitoring networked computer equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Windows/Linux Server environment.
  • Remote office support.
  • Maintains anti-spam device/ troubleshoots issues involving spam infiltration.
  • Work with ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) to ensure proper connectivity and bandwidth.
  • Troubleshoot and make corrective changes for (firewall switches).
  • Manage ongoing Software Virus security updates for Remote PC’s.
  • Handle failures and process RMA’s for failed product.
  • Maintain, modify, and audit all Active Directory GPOs.
  • Maintain, modify, and audit all Active Directory OUs.
  • Oversee and quality control the onboarding and offboarding process for all Active Directory users.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.

Training and Experience

  • Computer background with a working knowledge of MS Windows and MS applications.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience troubleshooting PC’s and Windows based applications.
  • Knowledge of computer networks preferred.
