  • Overview

    Responsible for the development of analytical tools and reports that support the decision making process of the executive team.  This individual will be a self-motivated person willing to accept new challenges and be passionate about data. The candidate will have familiarity with the Microsoft suite of BI development tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) or any other BI tools.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Sr BI developers to maintain the existing solutions while looking for improvement opportunities for them
    • Gather requirements for new BI solutions from multiple users; able to translate business requirements into actual solutions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and data integrity
    • Collaborate with other team members to consolidate the data landscape to reduce the development time and increase consistency among BI solutions
    • Automate manually generated financial metrics reports

    Qualifications

    • 2+ Years of experience using SQL Server tools: SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
    • 2+ Years of strong experience troubleshooting stored procedures and other TSQL code
    • Tableau Development experience a plus
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Objectivity and openness to others views, providing solutions and creative input
    • Provides and welcomes feedback
    • Must be able to adjust when there is a shift in priorities
    • Comfortable communicating with individuals and groups at all levels
    • Detail oriented, organized and able to manage user expectations
    • Good organizational, time management, and listening skills
    • Self-motivated

    Training and Experience

    • Experience working with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, preferably Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 or later
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong analytical skills
