    The Digital Marketing Specialist will play an important role in overseeing the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy for the rapidly growing SelectQuote Senior division.  The primary focus of this role is to drive digital lead generation for SelectQuote Senior’s nationwide sales team of licensed agents.  SelectQuote Senior has a mix of branded and non-branded web properties, and the Digital Marketing Specialist will drive the digital marketing efforts across all of these sites.

     

    The ideal candidate will have broad based experience in A/B testing, site optimization, understanding of SEO/SEM, and click platform (PPC) marketing.  The candidate must be able to aid in both digital strategy development and execution on this strategy.  Based in our stunning new Overland Park, Kansas office, this position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing for SelectQuote Senior.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and testing, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will have the following primary responsibilities:

    • Lead digital marketing execution across SelectQuote Senior’s branded and non-branded sites
    • Partner with the Senior Director of Growth and Experimentation to constantly optimize performance through A/B testing across website/landing pages (identify testing opportunities and manage the implementation and execution)
    • Drive conversion of prospective consumers to active customers through funnel optimization including creative, segmentation/targeting, and landing pages
    • Lead digital re-monetization efforts through click platform strategy and approach
    • Investigate and lead digital marketing partnerships with new vendors (vet opportunities, lead implementation/execution, and track monitor results)
    • Develop strategic roadmap for branded and non-branded websites
    • Partner with IT to execute on enhancements to branded and non-branded sites and ensure they are implemented correctly
    • Partner with Senior Director of Growth and Experimentation to implement SEO enhancements to drive more site visits
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to define objectives, success metrics, and tactical plans supporting digital lead generation efforts
    • Provide oversight to and partner with Paid Search agency to drive PPC lead generation
    • Stand-up new social media campaigns to drive incremental volume

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrate competence and knowledge of overall digital marketing (e.g. SEM, mobile, display, social media, retargeting, PPC/CPA, click platforms, SEO etc.)
    • Work independently with minimal direction while successfully meeting project objectives and managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines
    • Strong written communication and presentation skills
    • Self-motivated with an extremely strong sense of urgency
    • Flexibility to adapt and change as priorities evolve
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong technical background and ability to track conversion issues/performance across the domains

    Training and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Statistics, Economics or similar major
    • 4-8 years of progressive experience in digital marketing
    • Experience executing on a digital marketing strategy and working with partners to achieve business objectives
    • Proven experience in optimizing sales funnel conversion to ensure marketing leads convert at a high level when they get to site
    • Highly analytical and data driven: master in Excel, well versed in Adobe and/or Google Analytics (and associated tools), familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing, and continuous program optimization
