    The Manager, Brand & Creative Services position is responsible for overseeing the concept, design and production of all creative projects, both digital and traditional, for multiple business units.  This position will entail both hands on design conceptualization and execution of Video and Radio production, website design, direct mail, email and other digital and print campaigns, including management of both internal and external partnerships.  The Manager, Brand & Creative Services will ensure all creative deliverables are designed and produced to specification, all assigned timelines and deadlines are met and all projects fall within the SelectQuote brand guidelines and quality expectations. 

    The Manager, Brand & Creative Services will work with internal team members to develop and refine ideas and must have strong ability work autonomously, demonstrate peer leadership and possess strong verbal and visual communication skills. The person in this role will act as a creative conduit between Marketing Business owners for Sales Channels and internal and external partners. The person chosen for this role will be a gifted graphic designer, but also possess a demonstrated ability to partner across organizations effectively. The person in this role should be able to listen closely to team members and create materials that reflect communication objectives and be flexible enough to accommodate design changes.  This position will be primarily focused on design, but it also requires the ability to think not only from a design perspective, but also understand and satisfy the overall business objectives for each program and execute in a way that delivers the ideal customer experience and achieves leadership objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Conceptualize, design and deliver outcome-driven, innovated and effective consumer and institutional creative for TV, other video, radio, print, online and other channels as needed.
    • Deliver high-quality, production ready marketing for both internal and external collateral, while meeting all business communication requirements.
    • Manage all external design resources/partnerships to execute and oversee multiple design and development projects simultaneously.
    • Provides quality control on all completed projects to ensure design quality, production accuracy and all projects move the SelectQuote brand forward.
    • Partner with development to raise quality of user experience and interactions with websites
    • Actively partners and participates in Marketing meetings and supports the department in the development and implementation of communication materials.
    • Creates and maintains production templates, documentation, and best practices while archiving completed projects and maintaining server and file archives.

    Qualifications

    • Strong artistic abilities and knowledge of photography, design/color theories, techniques, typography and TV/Video production are required.
    • Prior experience developing strategic brand marketing guidelines and best practices.
    • Ability to recognize overall project objectives and execute design/communication in a way that satisfies the ideal user experience to meet those project objectives.
    • Experience working with and preparing electronic files for commercial printing.
    • Prior copy writing experience preferred and strong knowledge of grammar and composition rules for developing, editing and proof-reading material.
    • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy/quality and a critical eye for design aesthetics.
    • Proven prior experience managing network of external vendor partnerships successfully on time and on budget
    • Ability to prioritize work, work independently and balance multiple projects and work in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Self-driven with a high work-standard and a proven ability to innovate, work proactively to identify new marketing opportunities and to and to think critically.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills and an ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a fast paced team environment.
    • Ability to function as a partner, team player and go-to creative resource for all types of projects, from largest to smallest.
    • Proven track record as effective team leader, managing both dedicated internal and matrixed employees and outside network of freelance /contracted resources.
    • Knowledge of both Macintosh and PC platforms and an ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
    • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and other related design/production tools including Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Training and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related subject, or the equivalent work-related experience.
    • 8+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency setting or in-house creative/marketing department developing web and print materials. Experience in Direct Response marketing highly preferred.
    • 5+ years of digital design preferred, including digital display advertising, email, SEO and Social.
    • Prior experience writing copy for direct response advertising highly preferred.
    • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable design applications.
    • Advanced knowledge of design aesthetics and production requirements for print and digital media channels, and a solid understanding of brand marketing and user-centered best practices.
    • Prior experience in environmental design, specifically graphic design for workspace / interior design a plus.
