  • Overview

    The Associate Director of Health Sales is responsible for helping to meet the company’s revenue, profit and sales goals by effectively directing and managing the Healthcare Product Advisors. This position will direct and oversee all aspects of this team. In addition, the position will work to develop, update, and refine sales scripts and techniques; continue development of training materials, and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to. The Associate Director of Health Sales also supervises a management team that includes Sales Managers and Sales Coaches.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Use data to drive decision making matrix to drive maximum profitability from the Healthcare Product Advisor team

    • Understand and manage to optimize the Healthcare Product Advisor P&L

    • Work closely with marketing and workflow to optimize sources and increase efficiency of marketing spend

    • Drive all necessary requirements related to technology to ensure maximum ROI within the division

    • Effectively manage sales center team to properly staff the group and maximize ROI

    • Build and maintain strong intercompany business relationships with key stakeholders  

    • Create a positive and innovative environment within the division

    • Develop and improve new hire (remote and internal) training plan and materials, including handbooks, lesson plans, handouts, and schedules.

    • Develop and encourage company culture, team building and employee career development through coaching, mentoring and leadership.

    • Work closely with the Sales Managers, Directors, and trainers in the development and implementation of effective sales scripts, sales techniques and workflow processes.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a positive and competitive office environment by assisting the sales management team promote
      daily, weekly, and monthly sales contests

    • Maintain agents’ schedules, breaks and lunch requirements. Assist in time sheets, approve handles and
      document all requests for PTO

    • Approve expense reports

     

    Qualifications

    • Excellent managing, coaching and teaching skills

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Good interpersonal skills

    • Works well under pressure

    • Results driven

    • Dependable attendance

    • Previous experience in working across functional groups is required

    • Understanding of how to utilize technology and interface with IT to improve program efficiency and business results

    • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) data query. Ability to learn new software

    • Pro-active approach to tasks and ability to manage several project simultaneously and in a timely manner

     

    Training and Experience

    • Bachelor degree required.

    • 2+ years of sales operations experience is required.
