  • Overview

    The Customer Care Representative is the primary point of contact with a client after they have purchased a product with SelectQuote. This person forms an ongoing relationship with the customer and acts as the liaison between the sales agent, case specialist, and enrollment specialist to help with the successful transition to a new core plan. The Customer Care Rep makes onboarding calls to clients to ensure satisfaction, reduce rapid disenrollment, handle client inquiries, and help with post-enrollment issues. In addition, this role is also responsible for referring these clients to agents for secondary, health and non-health related products after successful completion of the primary sale.  The Customer Care Rep will also help SelectQuote customers from the Auto & Home and Life divisions learn more about the plans and products available through SelectQuote Senior.

    Responsibilities

    • Call new clients at specific intervals to prepare them for the Medicare approval process
    • Call newly enrolled clients to identify any issues
    • Contact clients to evaluate customer satisfaction
    • Call clients who need further shopping and redirect to core agents or retention reps as appropriate
    • Assist core agents, enrollers, and case specialists with problems as expressed by clients
    • Identify opportunities to refer SelectQuote Senior clients to other company products/platforms
    • Identify and react to opportunities to sell SelectQuote Senior clients Secondary Products
    • Report on client interactions
    • Additional projects as needed

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Fluency in basic CRM databases desired
    • Computer proficiency in several types of applications
    • Ability to multi-task while providing excellent customer service

    Training and Experience

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 1 -2 years sales experiences helpful
    • 1-2 years customer service preferred
