  • Overview

    This position involves working with SelectQuote’s Final Expense & Ancillary clients with the ultimate goal of putting policies inforce. From the moment a sale is made until the policy is placed inforce, the Ancillary Client Service Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact with the client, acting as the liaison between the sales agent, insurance company, and other SelectQuote case management employees. This position requires extensive telephone work, complementing the sales process by handling objections, reinforcing the buying decision, persuading clients to return their paperwork, ensuring customer satisfaction and ultimately getting the policy placed.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a high volume of calls and emails with the ability to prioritize appropriately.
    • Work with customers to collect outstanding requirements with the ultimate goal of placing the policy inforce.  
    • Ability to answer client questions and resolve customer objections or complaints.
    • Possess an understanding of other departments role in the process and be able to work together to get the case to the finish line.
    • Ability to work directly with carriers’ new business and underwriting departments.
    • Develop a very good understanding of our complete ancillary product line and process.  This includes Accidental Death, Guaranteed Issue, LP, TLE, Critical Illness and Juvenile.

    Training and Experience

    • High School or GED required
    • College degree desired
    • Prior Case Specialist experience is a plus but not required.
    • Cannot apply for another SQ position until after 1 year anniversary date.
